Paper Prototyping 10/26

Paper prototyping is difficult and has to be well organized (which Wesley and I learned the hard way). It is a good way to lay out your game and to figure out what all to put into your game. While we were int the middle of prototyping we kept thinking of different things to add to the game. After we finally finished, we found out that we needed to find some way to make it a little more organized. We ended up numbering the pages so it was a little easier to navigate around.

10/15

My game is going to be about a farm that is suffering. You have to do your neighbors favors so they will help you through the winter. You don't know it yet but if you don't help your neighbors enough you will die of starvation. The more help you give your neighbors the easier it will be to get through the winter. Different favors will have different point values but they will also take up different lengths of time. Every 500 points you get is a can of food.

10/10 and 10/11 weekend

My weekend was fun...Which is the normal. The only bad thing that happened was my engine blew during practice so I had to race with our spare engine. It was a money race and that made it even worse. I ended up getting last because of the engine difficulties but I wasn't far behind. It was kind of crazy but I had fun!

10/7

Today we finished the rabbit game. We learned how to make a score box and how to change the points per different objects. This was aggravating at first but after you get the hang of it, it becomes much easier. This will help us a lot when we start making our own game. I'm glad we did this project. Thanks Ms. Dolan for putting up with us.

10/5 and 10/6

The past two days we have been making a game where a rabbit has to eat the carrots..... Adobe Flash is very complicated if you dont pay attention. We learned how to make the rabbit move up, down, left, and right.
